Chester raccoon is nervous about his first day of school but his mom teaches him a secret about the "kissing hand." She kisses the palm of his hand and promises the kiss will stick with him all day. This way whenever Chester starts to miss home, he can put his hand to his cheek and remember how much his mom loves him. Before he leaves, Chester decides to give him mom a kissing hand too, so she won't get lonesome either.
