Kiss the Girls and Make Them Cry by Mary Higgins Clark-384 pages
When investigative journalist Gina Kane receives an email from a “CRyan” describing her “terrible experience” while working at REL, a high-profile television news network, she feels that it would be a GREAT story to investigate. The story feels like it is taken right out of current headlines and follows the #METOO movement.
As more allegations emerge REL's counsel Michael Carter attempts to keep the story from coming to light which makes him take more and more undue risks.
And if this is not enough going on in Gina's life..her recently widowed dad is in a hurry to get remarried and her employers legal adviser told her to break up with her longtime boyfriend because of conflict of interest.
Typical Mary Higgins Clark, there are many characters and plot twists. It was worth the wait, I enjoyed it very much.
