The Healing Jar by Wanda E. Brunstetter-315 pagesBook three in The Prayer Jars series follows Lenore. She is the cousin of Sara from book two. Lenore is wanting to find love along with finding someone to marry and have children with. She is getting discouraged because she is in her late 20's and all of her friends are already married with families. She finally meets a widower named Jesse who she starts to babysit for during the summer since she is a school teacher. After a while Jesse asked her if he could start to court her. Things seemed to be going really well and he asks her to marry him. Meanwhile, we are also following Jesse and know he is struggling with having feelings for someone other than his wife who only passed away 6 months ago. We follow them through the courtship and engagement. Jesse finally tells her he can never love her the same way he loved his first wife. Lenore has to decide if she can live with that or not. She uses the prayer jar to help her find self worth and learn that it is better to wait for someone who will love her completely. Jesse has to learn that it is possible for him to love two women in a lifetime before he loses Lenore for good. We also get to follow Michelle from book one and Sara from book two on their journeys with marriage. It was a good book and I enjoyed seeing how everything wrapped up for everyone.
