Betsy and Ty are a childless couple who stay busy with their dairy farm in southern Alabama. Although they long for kids, they make the best out of the life they have. Then, Betsy's younger sister Jena, who always wanted to pursue a career in photography, asks Betsy to watch her two children while she attends a retreat in Florida for two weeks. Two weeks turns into much longer and Jena must face a decision that would affect her and her children's future, while Betsy and Ty try to protect both their farm and their hearts as hurricane season is among them.
I loved this book and it seemed appropriate for the season.
