I really wanted to read this book after visiting Ray Bradbury Park in Waukegan, Illinois, the town Ray Bradbury grew up in. His hometown and the park were the inspiration for Dandelion Wine. This is a semi-autobiographical book based on Bradbury's childhood in the summer of 1928 in a fictional town called Green Town, IL aka the real Waukegan, IL. This was really a good book about life in a town during the summer of 1928.
