Madly by Ruthie Knox - 280 pages
Allie has messed up several times in the past, but this time is a huge failure. She's hiding in bar in New York spying on her mom who ran away from their home in Wisconsin the week of her 30th anniversary party. Luckily, Winston comes to her rescue to help her with the spying. Then he agrees to help her try to fix her family by getting her mom back home to her dad.
Turns out this is the second book in a trilogy. However, it read just fine without any prior knowledge of the previous book. I really enjoyed this story. The character growth was realistic as was the romance that develops between Allie and Winston. I'm looking forward to trying to find the other two books in the series.
