The Story of Arthur Truluv
By Elizabeth Berg
240 pages

This was a lovely story of a lonely man finding hope and purpose through a
young girl who was also feeling lonely and lost.  The two of them find friendship
and connection with a neighboring widow who is also looking for purpose.
The story is good, but I found myself wishing things were more dialogue out
between the characters.  There was definite character development, but you
didn’t get to actually experience the defining moments with the characters.
Because of this, it felt a little choppy. It felt like it was an abridged version of
the book, but it was just the book the author presented.
