The Notorious Benedict Arnold: A True Story of Adventure, Heroism & Treachery by Steve Sheinkin

The Notorious Benedict Arnold: A True Story of Adventure, Heroism & Treachery by Steve Sheinkin -- 337 pages

Most people know that Benedict Arnold was America's first, most notorious traitor, but if he had died at the Battle of Saratoga from his near-fatal injuries, he would have gone down in history as one of our greatest war heroes, reckless, adventurous, and tremendously brave.

What happened that turned Arnold from General Washington's trusted ally into his betrayer?

When I first started this, I didn't realize it was YA Nonfiction. Even so, I felt it detailed and informative. I greatly enjoyed listening to the audiobook.
