Class 3-E is for the students who are failing. However, they have a special assignment -- to kill their teacher. Their teacher is an octopus-like monster that has blown up the moon and is threatening to destroy the earth in one year . . . unless Class 3-E can kill him during before time is up.
This was recommended by some of the teens in my teen book club. I can definitely see why they like it. It is hilarious. It has violence but without any gore. I am definitely going to read more of this series.
It also has my favorite zen quote --
"I have no idea what kind of weapon will be used in World War III. But World War IV will be fought with tentacles."
