Library Wars v.2 by Kiiro Yumi – 192 pages

Library Wars v.2 by Kiiro Yumi – 192 pages

As Kasahara tries to better her skills, trouble is brewing as books listed as dangerous begin to disappear from the library collection.  The temporary head librarian is suspected of censoring the books.  When the Media Betterment Committee attacks the library to retrieve the banned books, the Library Forces are mobilized.   Kasahara charges in and saves the books by rappelling with them from the fourth floor, but pays for her rashness when she has to be saved from the enemy by Dojo.  Tezuka asks Kasahara to go out with him, and after giving it some time to think, she turns him down, and they decide they would be better as friends.  The case of a murderer who had banned books in his home poses a challenge to the library when the police ask for his library records, and the Commander of the Kanto Library Base, Inamine, upholds the law of user privacy.  In this second volume, relationships between characters deepened, and increased action made it more engaging than the first.
