Dragonbane by Sherrilyn Kenyon - 352 pages
Dark-Hunter Novels (Book 19)
The basic romance plot in this book is no different then the last several DarkHunter books. A hero is abused horribly and redeemed eventually by the love of a forbidden woman. Kenyon's world though is so complex and well-built that the repetitive plot isn't that big of a deal to me as a reader. I like the world enough that I enjoy getting a glimpse into it and it was fun to spend time in the Sanctuary bar in this one, since it's been a while since the characters spent significant time there. Another fun read in an ongoing series.
