A V.I. Warshawski Novel (Book 17)
Another solid entry in this long running series. Warshawski is drawn into her past when she is asked by a high school flame to investigate an age old crime. Soon she is entangled with Chicago political bosses and trying to reclaim her family's honor. Paretsky's gritty story telling fits perfectly in Chicago and V.I. continues to be a strong female hero for the ages.
