Festive in Death by J.D. Robb - 389 pages
Eve Dallas is having a tough time solving her latest murder, There are too many suspects. The victim was hated by nearly everybody he met. On top of that she has to prepare for her and her husband's Christmas party.
I enjoyed this book in the Eve Dallas series of futuristic mysteries written by Nora Roberts under the pseudonym J.D. Robb. It was very easy to get involved in the story. It didn't seem to have as much back story as a lot of the other Eve Dallas books do. Maybe after almost 40 books she figured that she didn't need to rehash the backstory of both Eve and Roarke in each new book. It was also interesting in that the characters finally acknowledged the fact that they need time off from work - that taking a date night was fine.
