This volume continues the story of Rin's meeting with her mother. It also introduces the possibility that Rin has feelings for Daikichi. That particular story line is creepy to me. I know other cultures don't have as big an issue with more distant family being together - but it seems wrong to me. In this case it would be an aunt and nephew - also the man who was in all reality her father for most of her life.
