Accused of witchcraft, 15 year old Alys is tied to a stake and left as a dragon's sacrifice. Angered that her village would listen to the lies of one who wanted her father's property and an inquisitor who bullies the villagers into testifying against her, Alys desires revenge. Amused by Alys, the dragon agrees to help her exact revenge. But revenge isn't always as sweet as we would hope it to be. Love is much sweeter by far ... but will Alys learn that in time?
