Very simple text guides young readers on a journey with Seymour Snail as he tries to obtain a job working with art. As a snail, he is very slow and that does get him into some trouble. Children will enjoy Seymour's job search when he accidentally calls a French restaurant looking for someone who specializes in cooking snails. At another point, he calls a pest control agency. The monotone illustrations are well done.
