Black Wings Series Book 5
As if Maddy Black's troubles weren't enough, now there are vampires walking in the daylight invading Chicago. She has broken ties with the Agency but still can't walk away from a city in need. The world building in this series is very strong and the books read like an action movie. It's not high literature but its a fun fast read that is at times laugh out loud funny but can also make you tear up.
