Library Lil grew up as an avid reader and went on to become a librarian.  When she took her first job, few people frequented her library.  Then one day a storm blew through and the electricity went out for two weeks.  Lil used the bookmobile to ensure every towns person had a book to read.  Afterwards, the library became popular and more books were checked out than ever before and story time was standing room only.  A few weeks later, Bust'em Up Bill and his motorcycle gang arrive in town and find it devoid of TVs since people like their books and takes on Lil.  She wins the challenge and the whole gang must read books; they become converts.  At the story's end, we meet her new assistant Bookworm Bill. In all, a cute story of how one becomes a librarian while addressing the issues of managing a library.
