In this modern Christmas classic, we see Dewey the Library Cat's first Christmas.  Dewey first explores the decorations in the library, then finds a ball of red yarn.  He considers the yarn his new plaything.  One night, he plays with the yard while in the tree, giving it a garland-like added decoration.  Then the tree disappears for a night and when it returns, Librarian Vicki tells Dewey his added touch helped secure their win in a decorating contest.  As always, Dewey makes for a cute story.
