Lewis is the sole librarian at his library and must do everything. This book guides readers through a day in Lewis' life as he orders books, shelves material, conducts story time, and more in a fun-filled way. The fact most spreads ends "But that wasn't his favorite thing" gives the children something familiar they can say to make the story more interactive. The illustrations were also cute and added a strong visual element (more so that other children's book on libraries I have read) to what they words say he is doing. In all, worth sharing with kids and reading again someday.
