From Norvelt to Nowhere by Jack Gantos
From Norvelt to Nowhere by Jack Gantos 278 pages
This is the follow up book to Mr. Gantos's first book "Dead End in Norvelt". I listened to both books on CD and I'm glad I did because Jack is a great reader. This time Jack is off on a hilarious adventure with his friend and mentor Miss Volker, the last Norvelt old lady remaining in their small town. First they are on a mission to visit Eleanor Roosevelt's grave and then on to solve a murder mystery. These stories contain a lot of history tidbits along the way. I found myself laughing out loud at times and really enjoyed listening to both of these books.
