One Second After by William Forstchen 350
I know I enjoyed this book but it was a bit terrifying and depressing. What would happen to the United States if an EMP were to hit? This book chronicles John Matherson's journey of just that. He resides in Black mountain with his two daughters and dogs, and readers will be taken on an emotional ride as they see a town come to terms with desperation, starvation, and the need for survival. Some of the writing in this book is a bit too vivid at times , but I think it is the reality of what could happen to our great nation. As one Senator said, it is not a matter of if, but when.

History Decoded The Ten Greatest Conspiracies of All Time by Brad Meltzer 160
If your looking for Answers dont look here, the book explains all different conspiracies from JFK to UFO's but much of the information can countered with another thought or point of view. I was surprised to learn that much of Oliver Stone's Movie JFK was fiction, but as he said the public believes what they want to believe.
