The Temple Tiger And
More Man-Eaters of Kumaon by Jim Corbett 168 pages, first published

We here in the United
States don't have to worry much about being killed and eaten by large
animals. The people of India do not have that luxury. It was estimated that over 1,200
people had been killed by tigers or leopards in and eight year period in the 1920's. This book is written by an
Englishman who lived his life in India and became a great hunter of
those tigers and leopards who caused such terrible loss of life.
