Innocence by Dean Koontz 338 pages
This is the story of Addison, a strange young man who makes his home in the sewers and must hide his face at all times because just the sight of him can drive ordinary people into a murderous rage. Addison travels at night when most people are asleep and loves to visit the library. It is at the library one night that he meets a teenage goth named Gwyneth who is being pursued by a vicious killer. They form an unlikely bond, but it's far from the Beauty & Beast love story you might expect. I enjoy reading books by Dean Koontz because they are always intriguing and you never know what is going to happen!
