King Mendebar of the Enchanted Forest is upset to discover what looks like a large circle of the forest burnt by dragons. He sets out to meet with Kazul, the King of the Dragons. When he gets to her cave he finds the Head Cook and Librarian, Princess Cimerene, who is setting out to search for Kazul. It turns out that Kazul has been kidnapped by wizards who are trying to start a war between the Enchanted Forest and the dragons.
This is the second book in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. Again, I listened to it on audio. I'm really enjoying the full-cast reading of these books.
