I enjoyed the twist on a classic fairy tale. Also, the artwork was gorgeous and those of the humans are reminiscent of older Renaissance-era paintings.

Based on a Italian fairy tale, Papa Gatto tells the tale of a cat who needs a caretaker for his motherless kittens. First Sophia is hired for the job, but fails miserably. After she is fired, her kind-hearted stepsister, Beatrice, takes the position.Beatrice succeeds and Papa Gatto is pleased with her work and gentle nature. He then bestows a gift on Beatrice and tells the Prince he assists about her. What follows in the second half of the story is a Cinderella story reminiscent of the movie Ever After.
