Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, by Lewis Carroll

Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, by Lewis Carroll, 228 pages

This is also a really good book to revisit as an adult.  I also recommend reading it with Alice in Wonderland, as a companion piece.  If Alice is a story of her adventure into the world of adulthood, I see this book as her arrival.  But it's so fun- this is the one where you find the story of the Jabberwocky, you meet Humpty Dumpty, and life appears to be a chess game.  Just a fun work of fantasy with plenty of word puzzles.
