Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll, 132 pages
I really think these books are worth re-reading every five years- you'll get so much more out of them. I hated Alice in Wonderland as a child- it all seemed so ridiculous and frustrated me (I guess I was a pretty serious kid...) But when I read these as an adult, there is so much more there- you can read it as a child's loss of innocence, a child's journey into adulthood, etc. And the wordplay is so fun. Also, public domain, so you can read it as a free e-book, like I did.
