Mistress by James Patterson

Mistress by James Patterson and David Ellis, 410 pages

In this latest James Patterson book, he writes with Chicago attorney, David Ellis, which may be why there are some references to the Chicago area and the Midwest. In his current book, Diana Hotchkiss commits suicide by jumping from her apartment window.  Or, so we are made to think it is suicide, but when her boyfriend, Ben, digs a little deeper he finds it was not suicide. Other shocking twists and surprises are also uncovered as Ben, a millionaire owner of his own paper, has to save himself from being arrested. This a suspenseful read involving the CIA and a major cover up involving the President and his wife, the Chinese and the Russians.
