A Million Little Bricks: The Unofficial History of the Lego Phenomenon by Sarah Herman, 303 pages
If you are a Lego fan, this book is a must read. It starts by telling the fascinating history of how Legos came to be. Legos first started as building bricks and then were made into sets. An interesting tidbit is why there are sometimes extra pieces in sets is because they are measured by weight and sometimes all the little pieces don't register. Also, the Lego company throws in a few extra small pieces for ones that are eaten by the vacuum. The book also details the history of the mini figure and the Technic sets for adults. The book is full of pictures through the years of the many different sets. The pictures are great! A fun read for all Lego collectors!
