Unsinkable A Memoir by Debbie Reynolds, 320 pages
Debbie Reynold's new memoir was one of the best I have read. She leaves no details out in her most recent divorce where she loses her Las Vegas hotel and her lifelong dream to build a museum for all her Hollywood memorabilia. This book is written from her heart. She shares the pain of her recent divorce, but also recounts her other two divorces, most memorably her one from Eddie Fisher. It is very sad that she worked so hard her whole life and spent much of her fortune on her collection. It was painful to read the details of the sale of many of her beloved items. Also included in the book are short summaries of all the movies she has appeared in. This book brought back a lot of memories of old Hollywood.
