"The Face Changers" by Thomas Perry - 372 pages
This is a story about a Jane Whitefield, a girl who worked as a guide, helping people in danger disappear. When she married she promised her husband that she would stop doing that. Now he has asked her to help a colleague and mentor, who is being accused of murder. As she begins to help him hide, she finds out that he is being set up. In hiding him and trying to find who is setting him up, she finds that those who she used to work with are now using her name to destroy lives instead of saving them.
