Dead Run: The Murder of a Lawman and the Greatest Manhunt of the Modern American West - 320 pages
Very interesting true crime story that began in the small town of Cortez, Colorado. The author does a good job of explaining all that he has learned about this horrific event that took place in 1998. With hundreds of law enforcement that includes the FBI, the National Guard as well a local law from the originating town and all the surrounding towns and counties they amass quite a posse to hunt down three modern day desperadoes. Questions persist as to what really happened and how these men died.
