This is another of the books about the Cynster family. Henrietta Cynster is known as the "matchbreaker". She has refused to wear the necklace that has been passed from Cynster girl to Cynster girl to help them find their hero. But next in line after her, her sister insists that she start wearing it. On the night she does, one her brother's best friends, takes her to task for "breaking" the match he needed to make in order to get his inheritance. She vows that she will be a "matchmaker" and help him find a match. As they evaluate all of the possibilities, they start to realize that they are the perfect match.
