Johnny and the Dead by Terry Pratchett, 213 pages
This book is the second in the Johnny Maxwell trilogy. I assumed because it was the second book in a trilogy that it would be a continuation of the first book. I was surprised to find the only thing the two books had in common were the characters. This is a very dated series for juvenile/teens. This book was first published in 1993 in Great Britain. Johnny Maxwell is a seemingly normal twelve year old until he realizes he can hear and talk to dead people. The dead in the town's cemetery are communicating with Johnny to have him try and stop a corporation from digging up their home. His friends have trouble believing Johnny's new found talent. Lucky for him, the story had a happening ending.
