Caroline Fordyce is astonished and dismayed when Adam Hardesty calls on her to accuse her of blackmail and murder. It seems that someone has killed a medium that she visited the evening before for research for her next sensation novel. Now they must join forces to try to find the killer before he goes after Caroline.
This was one of the better mysteries by Amanda Quick. It wasn't as obvious from the beginning who the killer was. She did a good job in this book of confusing the villains.
