This is a romance novel about a Heather who is taken to London by her Aunt's brother. After she fights off his advances and believes she killed him, she meets Brandon a ship captain from Charleston. After a forced wedding they return to Charleston, where the real murderer has arrived and begins to blackmail Heather. Finally Heather and Brandon have to face him together and realized that they are destined to be together.
