Batgirl 4: Fists of Fury, by Kelley Puckett (et al), 144 pages
It is probably because this is book 4 that I was unable to follow what was happening. Batgirl is young Cassandra Cain (not the original, Barbara Gordon- although she acts as an advisor). She is a martial arts genius who also appears to have some supernatural skills. In this volume, she takes on a protege to train, and defeats a man of shadows. It would probably appeal to teen readers, and it's nice to have a tough female heroine to cheer for. Not my favorite.
