The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, vol 1, Eiji Ohtsuka

The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, vol 1, Eiji Ohtsuka, 208 pages

This was a pretty good adult manga.  It had a mix of humor and horror. The premise is that there are a small group of students at a Buddhist university who come together to harness their special abilities.  Those include hearing dead people, finding dead bodies, ESP, and communicating with aliens through a hand-puppet.  They form the Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, which looks for dead/discarded bodies, listens to their last wishes, and tries to deliver them where they need to go to find peace.  It had a Pushing Daisies element to it (what a good show!), but much more sinister.  The stories are definitely for adults who can handle cartoon images of dismembered bodies.
