Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber

"Vampire Kisses" by Ellen Schreiber, 208 pages

What newly-turned 16year old Raven would love more than anything is to become a vampire. She's wanted to be one since she was a child and happily told her teacher that was what she dreamed of becoming. Heavily into anything to deal with vampires, Raven is fearless, inquisitive and the bad-girl outcast of her school/family/life. When the old abandoned "castle" in her neighborhood becomes occupied by a mysterious family with a pale faced teenage boy (Alexander) she is sure he is a vampire. The book was a quick read and pretty predictable. It's definitely more for a "fill in the time" airy type of reading instead of anything of substance. Content makes this book appropriate for the later teen years and up.
