Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer, by Van Jensen, 128 pages
After seeing his beloved Geppetto murdered by vampire-ghouls, Pinocchio swears revenge and hunts an army of vampires. The wood of his enchanted nose proves fatal; so as long as the lies keep coming, he seems unstoppable. Adults and young adults both might find this graphic novel entertaining, albeit darkly so. It's a quick read, and even though vampires might be slowly replaced by zombies in the cool department, this could still be appealing to teens.
