The Imperfectionists, by Tom Rachman, 269 pages
This "novel" is composed of loosely-related short stories about employees of an English-language Italian newspaper and its struggle to remain relevant in the twenty-first century. It provides a great deal of discussion for any potential book clubs out there. Personally, while I found it to be well-written and displayed excellent character-study skills, my overall impression was that of being uncomfortable regarding the negative portrayal of female characters.
