Everything and the Moon by Julia Quinn

Everything and the Moon by Julia Quinn - 372 pages

Seven years ago, vicar's daughter Victoria Lyndon and Robert Kemble, Earl of Macclesfield, planned to run away together and elope.  Unknown to them, their fathers ruined these plans causing both of them to think the other abandoned them.  Now they've discovered the truth about the past, but can they let go of their hurt feelings to make it work now . . . .

For a book about hurt feelings and estrangements, this was a truly funny read.  I really enjoyed both of these characters and their story of finding one another again.  I liked that it wasn't an immediate romance as it so often is in books.  It was more realistic in taking time to rediscover their feelings.
