I picked up this book after reading another entry on this blog about the book.  It sounded interesting and it was.  I found it interesting that St. Louis seems to speak completely differently from the areas around it.  We are neither southern, northern, eastern, or western in our speech.  Instead, we seem to pick the terminology that goes against what others around our saying.  I also found it interesting that I seem to use more southern terminology -- which I attribute to all of my elementary school teachers having been from Arkansas.

This is a commencement address the author made for a college class only a few years before his suicide.  The message is brief but powerful and reminds the reader to live consciously and mindfully.

This is a retelling of the fairy tale The Wild Swans.  It was an interesting retelling as they made the princess much younger than usual.  A great fairy tale retelling for children.
