Siren's Call by Jayne Castle

Siren's Call by Jayne Castle - 323 pages

Ella Morgan is a siren talent.  She can sing at wavelengths capable of suppressing another person's energy.  She's exactly who Rafe Coppersmith needs to deal with the dinosaur problems on Rainshadow Island.  The only problem is that Ella isn't in a forgiving mood after Rafe disappeared on her three months ago.

This is the latest book in Jayne Castle's Rainshadow series.  I definitely enjoyed the book.  It was a great listen on audio.  I did think the ending seemed a tad rushed and that it seemed that it needed more to complete the story.

Siren's Call by Jayne Castle

Siren's Call by Jayne Castle - 323 pages
A Rainshadow Novel

Ella Morgan is shocked when Rafe Coopersmith shows up in her office looking to hire her after disappearing for three months.  Turns out he needs a music talent to combat hypnotic singing dinosaurs in the Underworld.  But first they must deal with several issues including his disappearance, her true talent, and the men who are trying to kidnap Ella.

This was a good addition to Castle's Rainshadow Island series.  It took a slightly different approach to the plot than her previous books.  Although I figured out the bad guy early on, I did not pick up on the true reasons until they were revealed.  I look forward to her future books in the series.
