How to Keep House While Drowning by KC Davis

How to Keep House While Drowning by KC Davis, 151 pages

This book is a carefully crafted guide for people who are struggling emotionally or physically or both to keep their spaces clean. There are guides and references, and the author even has a "short cut" mode for those reading who do not have the mental bandwidth to deal with the whole book. It's also a good place for people to unlearn any cleaning-related trauma they might have picked up by well-meaning loved ones early in life.

A Simplified Life by Emily Ley

A Simplified Life by Emily Ley, 204 pages

A Simplified Life was a simple book to read with beautiful color photographs.  Yet another book on telling the average Joe how to better organize their life and simplify their days.  I would love to follow what she does.  Everything is simple and uncluttered.  From meals to pantries to time spent with kids, she covers the whole spectrum.  Although, she did say that raising three kids, writing a book and running a business was rather stressful.  Therefore, this book came about to make life simpler.  I like how she planned simple meals ahead of time and some meals even had themes.  Another thing I liked about this book was that in the pantry, she discourages the use of fancy containers.  She emphasizes keeping it simple.  I like simple!
