I have to say I was a little disappointed in Second Honeymoon.  Billed as a sequel to Honeymoon, which I liked, I found too much going on in his latest book.  When someone is killing honeymooners, John O'Hara, a special agent with the FBI, is hired by a private individual to investigate the honeymoon serial killer.  Paired with Sarah, another agent, they must act fast to prevent more killings.  The honeymoon killer is not who one would suspect in the beginning.  Not only is John O'Hara hunting down the honeymoon killer, he has to stay one step of the killer who is out for him and killing John O'Haras across the country.  John also has to deal with confronting  the drunk driver who ran down his wife and take care of his family.  This was a suspenseful read, but all the plots and subplots made my head spin.

Written in 2005, I guess you could call this book number one in the Honeymoon series.   James Patterson's second book in this series, Second Honeymoon, came out this past week.  I thought I would give this one a read before I read his second one.  This novel is a fast pace thrill and mystery.  When Nora Sinclair's finance ends up murdered,  John O'Hara is called in to investigate.  What ensues is Nora is not what she appears to be.  James Patterson is always a quick, on the edge of your seat,  fun, summer read!

Cecelia and Kate are now happily married and on their honeymoon tour of Europe with their husbands James and Thomas, as well as Lady Sylvia.  They've just barely left when they are once again caught up in a magical mystery.  It seems antique coronation regalia is being stolen across Europe.  It is up to them to determine why and to stop the evildoers.
This is the sequel to Sorcery & Cecelia.  This time the story is told through Kate's diary entries and Cecelia's depositions.  I really enjoyed this book although I was able to determine the chief villain early on in the story.
