Things are getting interesting at Key House, especially with Tyler's new friend "Zack."  Tiny bits of the back story are revealed, as is a new key with a kind of awesome and kind of terrifying purpose.  Fans of Stephen King might like this (and I don't say that because he's the author's father)- it's got the right amount of creepiness and horror mixed with a well-formed back-story.  I am really enjoying this series, but there is some violence and gore for those sensitive to that.

This is the first volume of Joe Hill's horror series and it does not disappoint!  There's definitely some gore and adult situations, but also some general spookiness and well-crafted character development.  It is basically the story of a family devastated by a horrible murder and their relocation; but beyond that it is a story of evil, vengeance, guilt, and family.  This has alot of real potential, for horror fans out there.
