The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave

The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave-320 pages

This has been on my to-read list for a while now and I wasn't disappointed. Owen Michaels disappears after the start-up tech company where he's employed is implicated in a fraud scheme and the CEO is arrested and charged. His wife of 1 year, Hannah Hall, and his daughter, Bailey go on a journey to find out the truth about Owen and his past and his involvement (or not) in his company's scheme. The clues from the past take Hannah and Bailey to Austin, Texas, where a shocking revelation awaits. I enjoyed reading this page-turner and couldn't put it down. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

Calculated in Death by J.D. Robb

Calculated in Death by J.D. Robb - 386 pages

Eve Dallas has a new murder to solve.  An accountant has been killed and staged to look like a mugging.  However, it soon becomes apparent that she was killed because of one of the audits she was working on.  Will Eve be able to solve the case before more murders occur?

Another great entry in the Eve Dallas mystery series by J.D. Robb (aka Nora Roberts).  There were a multitude of possible suspects -- each one despicable in their own ways.  It was fun determining which of them was the real killer.

Lost and Found by Jayne Ann Krentz

Lost and Found by Jayne Ann Krentz - 341 pages
** AUDIO **

When Katy's aunt dies and leaves control of her family's art business to her, Katy is suspicious.  She believes her aunt was murdered to make sure a merger takes place.  She convinces Mac to investigate with her.  However, there was more going on than either of them could have ever imagined.
This is a fairly typical Krentz romance.  It has a little suspense and mystery with a lot of romance.  It also explored family dynamics.  I thought the audio version was pretty good.  The narrator did a good job of differentiating between the various voices.
