Sam Stark has just been left at the altar and caterer Cleo Wainwright is determined to get her bill paid.  However, she also feels sorry for Stark and invites him to join her friends at the theater that evening.  This begins a professional relationship between the two that quickly becomes personal.  However, will this relationship survive corporate espionage attempts and her too-close family?

This is one of Jayne Ann Krentz's early romance novels.  It was a tad dated as so much of the plot line concerned technology that is now outdated.  Still, I enjoyed reading the book.

Hannah and Elias aren't the first ones to wake up in Illusion Town with no recollection of how they got married.  However, in their case, it seems they did it to escape some motorcycle thugs that were trying to capture them.  Unlocking the mystery of their memories will lead them to corporate espionage, hidden identities, and more kidnappings.

This book is in both the Harmony series and the Arcane Society series.  It was a pretty good entry into both series.  It almost seems as if the author is resetting both series once again.

Sam Stark has just been left at the altar again -- for the third time.  It's obvious that his relationships will never work out.  So when he's interested in caterer Desdemona Wainwright he decides to "go with the flow" rather than make any plans for the future.  But analytical, logical Sam is out of place with Desdemona's outgoing, theatrical, loyal family.  It's going to be a miracle if this relationship makes it past a few dates.  Especially when Sam starts to believe that Desdemona's brother might be a computer hacker and thief.
I listened to the audio version of this book.  I enjoy Krentz's books and enjoyed this one also. However, it felt very dated to me.  It was published in the mid 1990s when computers and the Internet were first becoming truly popular.  It was very strange to hear them wax on about personal digital assistants when we are so used to smart phones today.  It probably wouldn't have been so noticeable if Sam's character hadn't been a computer techie in the book.
